Luxury Hardwood Chess Table

This luxurious chess game table will accentuate your home's decor and "wow" all of your guests.

The table design draws inspiration from the Southern Shaker's of Kentucky, and it is a Green Duck Custom's original design. With a nod to the crisp lines and tapered legs favored by the Shaker's, Green Duck modernized this style by adding a bit of detail to the legs as well as a really nice beaded profile for the table edge. The table features an inset and grain matching drawer with half-blind dovetailed drawer construction. Perfect for storing game pieces!

The table itself is designed around the large format (20" x 20") Chess Board made from black walnut and hard maple. The board sits in a maple/walnut mitered table top approximately 1/4" above the main table height for a distinctive raised effect.

To accentuate and protect this heirloom piece, we use a professional pre-catalyzed waterborne Conversion Varnish with a cross link enhancer for increased chemical resistance. While providing protection, this finish also provides a subtle warm glow that deepens the natural beauty of the walnut and maple.

This a build to order item. Please allow 6-8 weeks for completion. Chess Pieces are not included.
